I'm a B/C/D mix. Definitely down with the smart part, liked sci-fi, but just to read and watch on little or big screen, not fannish. I was a BIG band geek. At my high school, it was actually kind of cool to be a smart band geek, because our band was really good, and, it being the armpit of the midwest, getting into a far away college was viewed as a good thing.
But, as far as me personally, I was so not cool! I tried, did activities galore: all the various little bands, the school musical, soccer, even a little stint with pompoms (shudder) but I didn't bond with the locals, except a few friends. I guess, all in all, I was pretty invisible.
The summer before my senior year I met some people I really liked. People not from my school. So then I bailed on all my activities to could hang out with the funner people. I hated my senior year - I was counting the days until I got out. And life has been so much better since - high school was just so lame!!
Good thread Chrisisall. It's fun to revisit - I haven't thought about high school in years! Seems like it all happened to a different person.

Mal4prez, My school was the same. Band wasn't a bad thing. Ours was quite good too.
Was a Star Wars fan and original Battlestar Galactica fan but not a trekkie, so I got most of my sci-fi input via books. Stephen R Donaldson was my favorite in high school.
Kinda ages me... sigh.

Started out in elementary and junior high as a "B", ended up as a "D".

It's hard to fit into one category - I was a rebel in high school, obsessed with going to punk shows on school nights and averting athority whenever possible. I was still popular though, because I was extroverted and a class clown. Eventually left high school my junior year because I couldn't take any more - went to junior college the next year and never looked back. Now I have a degree and a white collar job and couldn't think of my high school days any less if I tried.

I was very quiet and reserved in HS. Guess I could have been called a lurker before there was even such a term.
I have made up for it now though. The squeaky engine part gets the grease so to say, and if its Kaylee doing the greasing well....ha..ha

I was an odd mix of B,C and D. With a couple of extrations, but never an A.

I was A,B, and D. I cheered and did all the popular stuff but I also liked being alone with my thoughts and pondering stuff with different people. Being popular was fun but its sooo fake, people either feared you or kissed your ass.
I liked hanging out with the goth,sci-fi,nerdy,rock band people. they were very accepting and always had something interesting to say. Out of all my friends from high school they are the only ones I still talk to. Well, except my best friend who was "The Hot Chick/Prom Queen" in school, we still talk like we live next door, even though we are about 3,000 miles away.
High School was good times but I dont think I'd relive any of it again.

Probably closest to a C,I had a few friends in school so I wasn't a complete loner,I also like playing games on my Sony PSP & Dell laptop,& I love watching movies espically sci-fi ones.I never was obssessed with Star Wars even though I liked the orginals but I was a big fan of Star Trek but not a Trekkie,& cause I've just finsihed school recently the last year in school I became a BROWNCOAT.Only thing which would have made my school years perfect would have been to have a girlfriend,I dob't count my girlfriend when I was 4-6 years old.

Amen to that! Blossoming late, the military, and not going to reunions!
