Hello all,

I am curious about a Serenity DVD I picked up at Target today. The security tapes on the top end of the case says Serenity (Unrated). I grabbed it thinking that it must be a new release especially since there were other ones on the shelf that did not say (Unrated).

Being that I had the family with me and the kids being impatient I did not look at the back until I got home. Nothing is different between the DVD case I already had and the one with the (Unrated) security tape.

Is this another case of poor marketing by Universal or did someone clearly mis print the security tape??

I was thinking of not opening it until I heard from you guys. Then again, I might open it and give a copy to my sister.

Yeah, it's a misprint that a lot of Target stores have been passing out (if not all of them). The ones on my Target's shelves have said that since the first day they were out.

I am from vegas, I have also seen the Unrated tags on the top of Serenity dvd's at two different targets. I didnt buy one but i can confirm that they are on the shelves in vegas

The "Unrated" on the outside tape means the DVD as a whole is unrated, as the special features were not submitted to the MPAA. The rating of the movie itself is on the back of the case.
