It sounds like it is still in pre-planning mode and that they may need help. They haven't decided on a theater yet.

I've been trying to organise something on a smaller scale with other Browncoats -- maybe a backyard screening on a borrowed digital projector (we had a succesful night with a few Buffy episodes a few months back) -- but I'd love to get involved organising a larger screening of Serenity.

I'm new to the verse...but i'm glad I came at this time. So this Serenity day, June 23. I just saw that there is a screening in NYC. What do I need to do to attend? just show up, or buy tickets from somewhere special? Any information would be priceless...Oh and this new browncoat that FollowMal gave me is a damn nice fit still. I'm impressed.
