Serenity will premiere on Cinemax 22nd of July at 10 pm. If it premieres on Cinemax, then it will also come on HBO probably a month or two later.

Whoo-hoo! All I remember reading about was USA paying for rights to air Serenity.

I wonder how much Cinemax and HBO paid Universal for the rights?

I'm kind of mad. I no longer have cinemax so I won't be able to watch it on tv. I do own the dvd but still wanted to see it on tv. Now, I have to wait until it comes on HBO.

WOOT! I know where I'm gonna be on Saturday night, popcorn in hand and kicked back in my chair!

Right in front of my hubby's honkin' big tv... and everyone with me and everyone is going to enjoy it!

I hate to burst your bubble, but I read that HBO was against buying the rights of any canceled shows. This point was bought up when Arrested Development was looking for a new home and probably still is.
