I have only recently been inducted into the Serenity/Firely verse and I am happy to say that I am now, and forever will be, a dedicated fan.

When I first saw the trailer for the movie, I knew I had to see it. The combination of action, what seemed to me to be a bit of mystery and the comedic moments were very compelling (at that time, I had no knowledge whatsoever of the history of the show).

After having seen the movie, I promptly went out and bought the series and watched it all in one day. I laughed, I cried and found myself screaming for more.

I have long been an Angel/Buffy fan, as well, and was heartbroken when Angel was not renewed for another season, and when Buffy finally had to end, although I do understand the reasons for it (Buffy, I mean).

Joss, you are by far the most astoundingly talented writer/filmmaker I have ever had the pleasure of eagerly following the career of in my entire life.

Nathan, your comedic timing, combined with your obvious intelligence and wonderfully acerbic wit, generous nature and warmth make you a genuine pleasure to....oh heck, for lack of better words right now (I'm sooo tired!) watch onscreen (and I have seen you before Firely, so I was delighted to find you there!).

Gina, you're an amazon, a lady, a joy. You bring such integrity and strength to your character, and depth of emotion. You are amazing.

Adam....such a breath of fresh air! You are honest, forthright and to the point. And quite the charmer, I suspect. I love the way you and Nathan play off of each other. I can only imagine how your character would have grown, had the series continued.

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! I have to currently interrupt this program as I just looked at the clock and realized I am running late for an appointment, and I don't want to lose what I've already written.

To be continued.....but one more thought before I go: Joss....thank you, thank you, thank you.

Welcome, BlondRocker!

As articulate as you are, you are going to be such a joy to have around here! We love to hear the stories of how folks first fall in love with the 'verse and your descriptions and thanks are echoes of what we all feel.

Well, since you are a Browncoat.. you need a browncoat and I hand out virtual ones to new folks.

We're very glad to have you and as Browncoat1 said, be sure and share the 'verse with other folks, as we need all the recruits we can get.

We are going to be very busy campaigning for more Firefly/Serenity this summer..we're calling it the Summer of Serenity and we have lots of shiny things planned. Check out the Browncoat Events Forum to the right on the front page for a list of what all we're doing. We'd love for you to take part too.

There will likely be somemore folks come along and offer you food ( usually strawberries! - I'll have to come back!) and beverages, actually coffee is my favorite, but other folks seem to be partial to Mudder's Milk.

So make yourself to home and post often cuz we love to talk and share our love of these characters, actors and stories.

Awwww how wonderful!!!!!!!!! Thank you so very much - ya'll made my day with your sweet responses.

Yes, indeed, the cast and crew of Firely are truly wonderful, amazingly super human beings. My head is reverberating with the memorable quotes and moments from both the series, and the movie. We MUST keep this going!

I am so happy to be a part of Firefly/Serenity, and I am very much looking forward to getting to know all of you in the days to come.

And now, continuing our earlier programming.....

Jewel - what a treasure!!! She seems to literally glow from within with sweetness and light, and when she smiles, she shines.

And Alan, I can't say enough about. The man is inspired, and inspiring. He's a doll, a teddy bear and yet is as solid as a rock. Yes, I am not ashamed to admit that after I first picked myself up off the floor, I bawled when he was killed in "Serenity". Will we ever see him again???

Summer!!!!!! Gorgeous, ethereal, grace personified (is that spelled right??). I also have a long background in dance and I was absolutely captivated by her. When Summer is on-screen, you literally cannot take your eyes off her. Her range and abilities are amazing, and I long to see her grow.

And then there's Morena...oh my goodness. What an incredibly beautiful person, inside and out. Talented, caring and intuitive and WOW that hair!!!! You are truly a delight to behold.

Moving on to the adorable Sean Deadpan, dead-on and simply drop dead gorgeous. We love you, Doctor. Strong, yet gentle. Aloof, yet loving. It's the quiet ones that get you every time.

And, finally, Ron. The thing I noticed most about Ron was how much he laughs, and how wonderful it sounds when he does (speaking in terms of the extras on the DVD's). You can tell that this is a man who is in love with life, and if you were to meet and spend any amount of time with him, you would forever be touched by the experience.

And now, if I haven't bored the heck out of all of you, or made a complete idiot out of myself, I look forward to hearing from ya'll soon!
