I'm just askin' ya to take it slow and not assume the worst cuz ya have a tendency of causing the worst to happen when ya do that, y'know?"
Wash & Mal's eyes meet and Wash searches Mal's eyes for some inch of recognition.
"You don't know, do ya? Fine. Let's just go in there and be target practice. It's not like I was doing anything important with my life anyway."
Into the intercom, "Love you Zoe wherever you are."
