By Piratenews's post you guys already get that he's not flying with a full deck. You know this, I know this and I'm currently flying with half a deck. You could simply not respond to his posts, which would take all the fun out of it for him, and you guys could go back to your well-reasoned discussions about the current event that are happening out there, but you don't, you pounce on him in yet another group-bonding attack. Another 'Who's the biggest gorilla in the park scenario'

All PirateNews posts have an alarmist quality to them. Matter of fact they are laughable, they are a joke, and I don't think the guy who writes them really believes in it, but you guys feel the need to hop in there and fuel the situation for you own, private ego-building endeavourers. And Citizen, you are the worst of the bunch.

And yes, at this point I AM being condescending. One's such as yourselves who point out that they know better about things, in the end are nothing more than a pack of bullies in a school yard harassing the nerds who have the gall to believe in the nonsense they believe in, and how dare they have the audacity to voice it however crazy it may sound. I guess the nailed that stands the tallest must be hammered down, so have at it. It's the thing that you guys seem to be really good at.

Please don't even bother to respond to me about this. Respond to PirateNews and put him down some more, or respond to your little pack friends. Spend time building each others egos up by being asses to other people that don't support your herd mentalities or something because in the end, I really don't give a fuck what you guys think of me. You can't effect me any longer.

Actually I respond to him because it's funny, and he doesn't just voice his opinions, he actively seeks to prevent others from doing so, and insults everyone and anyone who thinks differently. My responses to him are far more measured than his accusation are to me, hmm what did I say to him, oh yes pretty much parroted his world view, that British-Commie-Nazi-Christian-Jews are behind it all.

He in turn called me a baby killer. So I feel perfectly fine responding to him in the way I do, thank you very much.

I'm not quite sure what your personal hard-on for me is, neither do I care, but it's long past being boring now. As is your ego based derision of our ego based derision, hypocrisy is not a good look for you, neither is arrogance which you are showing in spades at the moment.

For someone who has shown your recent behaviour you have no right, NO RIGHT to be condemning most of the rest of this board for theirs.

I suggest you pack up your simplistic amateur psycho-analysing which is two a penny in any woman’s mag you care to buy, and go back to starting threads to get yourself attention.

I have no personal 'hard-on' for you as you said, I actually like you, and I don't see myself condemning you. I also don't start threads to get attention. I like starting threads though I do admit the last few threads were pretty lame.
I start threads to try to get involved. I start threads to be a part of the board and the forum, and it appears that I'm not doing very well at it, but I keep at it, and will find a balance here.

If you are as high-minded as you pretend to be, you would laugh off Piratenews's stuff and move on, but you don't. You stay and stir things up with him, and you of all people should know better than that. People like me stay around and argue and kick up fuss, but you...I guess I don't understand you, and I never will, and that's okay.

And don't be so generalizing. I'm not condemning most of the board and most of the people on it as you put it... just this situation, and that TheRightStuff episode. And true, I have been guilty of some of the things I’ve pointed my finger at you about, but it still doesn’t make it right.

TheRightStuff episode was a joke, it gained exactly what it was supposed to, i.e. bring people together using an enemy whose feelings could never be hurt because they didn't exist.

Yes I was in on the joke, no I wasn't TRS, yes I know who it was, no I'm not telling.

Something may not be right, sometimes it's understandable, if someone hits me it doesn't automatically mean I'm a bully if I hit them back.

And frankly if you are guilty of something you don't get to judge or be condescending to other people for doing it.

Citizen, would you thank the person behind TRS for me? It was brilliant, and it worked wonderfully. I had inklings towards the end, but only after someone else brought up their own doubts. I am thoroughly enjoying the end results.

I'm going to be a little condescending from time to time, but I get your point concerning the whole thing, but you can see why I got a little confused by the whole affair can't you? Thanks for explaining that...I get it now so I can now move on with my life.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread...sorry. I was hanging around waiting for Piratenews to show up so I could ask him if he really believes in all the stuff that he posts.
