I certinatly won't be watching that.

I guess it isn't as bad as the Travel Channel showing Texas Hold'em Tourneys.

i'm sorry SciFi has to do this to stay afloat.. i've enjoyed quite a lot of the programming on that network... but they will be losing me with this move...

I don't know, Sci-Fi has already turned into the "ghost" channel anyway, and it airs so much bad bad bad programming that, I mean, really... that ship's already sailed.

No worse than some of the "movies" they've been showing. I'm sure Mammoth had by far the highest ratings of them, and just because of Firefly fans wanting to see Summer.

There are some good shows, such as BSG and Doctor Who, but it seems that every time I switch over there is either a horrible movie or some Stargate rerun on.

A friend of mine applied for a job in programming and got to hear all about their new "broad-based initiative" to bring in more main stream viewers. WTF? Cable is rapidly becoming a niche market and the most established commercial niche is the SF market, why are they screwing with it? The programming HAS been going down hill and it's only going to lose them loyal viewers and the mainstream with stay away no matter what due to the "SF Stigma". They might as well make their core audience happy.

Unless it's robots wrestling with big chainsaws, I'm changing the channel.
