31 CONFIRMED Charity 'Serenity' Screenings

Since early January, Browncoats have been organizing same-day, worldwide screenings of Serenity to be held on June 22, 23, and 24, all to benefit Joss' favorite charity -- an event therefore dubbed Serenity Now/Equality Now.

If you don't see your city listed, check our website to see if it's in the planning stages. Or, it might be up to you to make one happen. There is no central authority doling out screenings to these cities. It is entirely up to fans on the ground to organize a screening where they live.

As far as I know the Charlotte, NC screening has been canceled due to the theater backing out.

Oh, quite right. That came over the organizing list but somehow didn't make it to the website. Oddly, Charlotte's event website doesn't reflect this fact either.
