Oh, dear...

Sweetie...

If your discs are unmarked, they were burned from someone else's discs, I presume.

Ahem.

Okay, watch those discs in the order on the second post. Then once you are sufficiently indoctrinated, go out and buy the box set so as to support Joss / Mutant Enemy / Browncoats Everywhere. Then watch the movie Serenity.

*The first episode on the box set is entitled "Serenity, Parts 1 & 2" -
The movie that come out in September is also entitled Serenity.

From there, have at all the secondary stuff. The comics, etc. It will make much more sense to you.

"Have you ever been with a Warrior Woman?"

You said watch these episodes.(Which has "Serenity" as pilot)
And then you said "watch the movie" in last line of your post.
Is there a movie?I thought "Serenity" was the movie.
Should i start by watching Serenity, train job and so on.

Oops, forgot to mention that :P The title of the pilot episode is Serenity. After the show was cancelled () the 'Coats were lucky enough to be granted a Big Damn Movie, which was also named Serenity. :P

Which order should i watch Firefly?
My DVD's are unmarked,so please write me the list with episodes names or give me some link.Thnks.

For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either.

If I had a choice this si the order I'd watch it in.
Serenity (the True Tv pilot)
The Train Job
Bushwacked
Shindig
Safe
Our Mrs. Reynolds
Jaynestown
Out Of Gas
Ariel
War Stories
Trash
The Message
Heart Of Gold
Objects In Space
Serenity: Those left Behind (the Comic book from Dark Horse)
Serenity (The Motion Picture)

Here's a site that might help you.

Actually, I'm going to have to break tradition and recommend watching The Message as the last episode. It was filmed last, and was last in continuity (cf. Jayne's "Girl's a gorram mind-reading genius" remark)--and for my money is a more satisfying/heartbreaking ending to the series. It wasn't last on the DVD set because, as I understand it, when Joss realized they were only going to air one more episode, he decided to air Objects in Space, which he felt was the stronger episode.

Just my two cents King Cobra, but I'd watch them in the order that Joss put them...I believe Nuclearday's post lists them that way.

That's how I watched them and fell in love with them. I'd love to be watching them fresh like you are!

You are going to enjoy them so much.

I usually give new folks their browncoat.. a welcome home gift as folks join our site, virtual I know, but meant from the heart nonetheless.
You're here.. you need your gear too...

*hands KingCobra a browncoat from the storeroom, new and comfy*

I hope you'll come back and let us know what you think.. which ep is your favorite, which ep has your favorite quote and anything else you'd like to share... we love hearing the stories.

Oh Jeez,thanks FollowMal
I feel privilaged to be a part of Firefly community. Thanks again for having me.

-Takes the Browncoat from HollowMal-
It is comfy and i feel proud to wear it.
I'll watch some more episodes and i'll try to
understand the significance of this Browncoat and may be feel prouder.

I was searching for the right way to watch this series and during my search I got all confused and
watched "The Train Job" first.Tonight i am gonna start with "Serenity" or the pilot.
My initial impression of the series after watching Train Job was excellant acting, excellant dialogue and believable environmets and easy to get into.
But i was most impressed by the Writing.
Tommorrow i will discuss "Serenity",if you'll allow me to.

I also wanna know how i can save my signature in the box.It dissappears everytime.
