I just saw someone i know on yahoo personals, didnt know that they were single or looking, guess i dont know em that well, i also find that a good way to meet people is through a friend of a friend, but this can go horribly wrong i hear. the freind acts as a middle man/woman and if you like em tell your friend they will probably do the same and before you know it, but if you break up it can be bad for you friend who could have to choose between you.

Hmmm interesting. How did you find them!
I have no friends. Seriuosly. At least not here. My son told me last night I should go clubbing with him and his girlfriends - cause I WANNA go clubbing with 18 year olds! NOT

This happened to me not long ago. It started to become clear that two friends of mine were interested in each other, but they didn't know one another very well so I offered to "facilitate" things by getting us all together to hang out and then going on a double-date or two. It worked out great at first, they started dating and were together for about a year. BUT, then they broke up, and now I have to decide which one of them to invite to parties, etc. It's sad.

That's a good question to get us back on track (no, I am not complaining...I was quite pleased to meet the real FMF
).
How many of you have had relationships that, when they ended, split your friends into factions, and have those splits ever healed?
Holding until you get back, Captain.

That is a good question. Why are there people looking at personals in the morning? (secrectly closes page)
*JOKES*
FMF, have you seen a movie called My Date With Drew? Its the story of how a guy making an indepedant film for under I think 1,000 dollars and tries to score a date with Drew Barrymore, (Not Drew Carey). Cute story, just an idea.
TRISTAN: Two and a half hours to go. No real butterflies yet, but I do feel the spirit of a certin Firefly.

Haven't seen it. Interesting idea though.
I was hoping he would get the vibe of his "soulmate"
LOL

My best friend, (lets just call her M), Acually dated my oldest friend from the sixth grade. We were all friends at the same time. She actually ended up marrying a drinking buddy that we were also all friends with. Everything went to hell in a handbasket many times over. And over. And over. Though I am still friends with two of the three, She seems to be the tie and the cause of alot. Oh well, If the other two guys involved would grow up we could probably still be one big happy SHINY family. Oh how the 'verse turns.

NVGhostrider, all will be well. Our thoughts will be with you. We do expect a full report upon your return, though

Hey FMF,
I had no idea you were out near my neighborhood and all =p I used to check the Browncoat map for names I recognized for a while, but it broke (at least for me) some time ago =)
Anyway, that's kinda cool, I think. I usually head out that way once or twice during the summer. I don't know how often (if ever) you get up around Montgomery, but I think that would be cool if we could run into each other some time.
I'm not hitting on you or anything (not that you're unattractive from what I can tell in your picture of by your personality around the boards). I'm married, and happily so, but I still think it would be pretty cool to know some Browncoats out and around. My wife wants to meet some, too - I think she may believe that we're the only halfway normal people that like the show...and going to a comic book convention to see Summer and Alan didn't help =p
Amiton.

FMF,
I saw your log entry today and looked this up. I am more than 50 miles from Foley, but if I were closer, I would court you in a manly fashion.
Seriously, you are an attractive lady with a smile bigger than Kaylee's.
I used to worry about having a younger face than my age, but my hair went gray faster than Taylor Hicks', so now I just get small kids pointing at me in line and saying "Soul Patrol!".
How are the t-shirts coming?
So who is he?
He's my husband.
Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!
