Lol don't get me started with Trading Cards.
Last time I allowed myself to collect some I ended up spending a *lot* of money just to get the same few over and over :P

Still, the set sounds good and lets face it, its always nice to see more merchandice based on our favourite cancelled show ;)

Im pretty pissed off with this set. Theres no pieceworks cards and Summer Glau doesnt even have an autograph card.Whats up with that?

I was surprised at that too
but the got my set last week and the cards are pretty shiny

What do you think of the foil card wrappers?? Do you think they would make a nice button? Too small?

When I got my little box of cards, the Comic Book store owner said that Inkworks has SOLD OUT. Which means that all the cards are either in Browncoat hands or Distributors or Vendors (Comic Book stores etc).

Maybe that means there will be a Firefly Series II cards. Perhaps that is why some things were left out of the first Series.

Maybe the Series II cards will be the larger version cards.

What is a pieceworks card?

Pieceworks cards are inserted 1 per box and they include an actual piece of clothing worn by a cast member.
I've got 3 so far from the Serenity set and they're pretty shiny. It's cool to have a piece of material from one of Washs trademark shirts.
Still, no pieceworks means less of a strain on my bank account but it would have been nice to have a card that included some of Mals original browncoat.

I did get the set of 72 cards couldnt afford the box
whats this about a second set of FF cards?
true I would be happy if there were hundreds of cards in the set--but my pocketbook would not be

I picked up a box at the Motor City Comic Con last weekend for a reasonable price, and was able to get two complete sets of the 72 card base set, plus the Morena Baccarin autograph card, three "FIREFLY FOREVER" cards, two "THE BATTLE OF SERENITY" cards, and one of the "PARTNERS" cards. All in all, a great haul, and I was completely inpressed!
