Kitty Pryde
Ororo Munroe
Remy LeBeau
Vilandra

and come on! Hoban Washburn. How neat is that name?

And of all the names in Hitchiker I liked Fook.

Some of my favorites:

Leeloo Minai Lekarariba-Laminai-Tchai Ekbat De Seba from The Fifth Element. Say that fast five times in a row!

Duke Leto Atredies from Dune. While we are at it, Mua'Dib is pretty cool too. Has a good sound to it when you imagine thousands of Fremen chanting it like an M-V-P chant at an NBA game.

Agent Smith. Ah, so faceless, so impersonal. It was a great choice of name for the character.

Dildo Bugger (BOTR)

A.

Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?

Ted Striker: I can't tell you that. It's classified.

Slippery Jim DiGriz

Roy Batty (Time...to die...)

Snake Plissken

The Man They Call...Jayne!

Quellcrist Falconer

Banichi and Jago

Seth Gecko

The Doctor - 'the Oncoming Storm' or 'the Lonely God'

(I'm cheating - some of these are from books. But they should have BDM's of their own.)

Ah ha! I believe we have a DS9 season 8 fan! Right there with you snark!

Actually there's lots of good names from StarTrek. All the Jem-Hadar for a start. Oh, and 'Burgoyne 172'. Great name!

How could anyone not put in the ultimate badass name:

Darth Vader: Or was that too obvious to use? I mean when he WAS badass his name sent shivers down peoples spines. And it's just so cool and unique, anyone can be named Agent Smith but how many can be called Vader?

It's an animation but... Elastigirl, good solid superhero name.

And speaking of Superhero's, Clarks original Krypton name Kal-el. Always loved that name.

Leiah, I wanted to be called Leiah when I was younger. It's lovely to hear and say. Not so much Organa (sounds like an opening title for a porn movie)

And that leads me to Alotta Fagina... always funny to see if TBS would put that in considering....

Octopussy, and she was actually called that in the movie. (James Bond written by prepubescent men)

Chewbacca, *rawr*

Inarah Serra. Beautiful name.

Can't think of any others right now.

And now I can almost guesse which threads are going to be Chrisisall's. They just have a flavour to them.

If I'm a bitch, then life just got interesting

Shiny! (I'm about to re-read that book cycle before tackling "Warpath." I want the full experience.)

And if you know Burgy, you must know the best, most mockable crewman in Starfleet: Ensign Foetus. There's plenty of womb for him here.
