ahem...the official term now for a Firefly-oriented convention type gathering (no matter how big or small) is Shindig.

I am quite proud of this term as I coined it...instead of calling it a Con, its a Shindig...obvious reasons.

If ya have a look in the Jan issue of SFX you'll see an announcement for Fusion, with Jewel being mentioned.

Sean said that they had 'jumped the gun' and had announced earlier than he'd planned.
