Check out the fanfilms Broken Allegiance and Revelations over at TheForce.net. They are, IMO, the two best fanfilms ever made.

good point, and a vigourous head nod to that!

The choreography was better than in Phantom Menace, and those guys got paid a lot!

Oh I loved it I loved it. I agree that choreography was better than the fights in the prequels, it reminded me of the fight between Vader and Luke. Now if they'd put on full costumes and did it in front of a blue screen or even a painted backdrop it would rock. I absolutely loved it, thank you for finding it.
I loved the last touch in the end, all that fight to get the saber and he buys it with a touch of the force, though I wasn't sure about the very end if he was supposed to be a clone.... ok, this has made my Star Wars fandom giddy. Imagine if Lucas had taken pains to do even a halfassed job on his films... *sigh* This was great, thanks again.

After Phantom Menace, peeps said "The movie kinda sucked, but the Darth Maul fight was good."
To those I would show this short : speedy, well edited and predictable lameness is no match for fluid creativity!
