We [the group] will be working on her restoration over the upcoming weeks and months and time and funds will be necessary for that. We [again the group] are making plans for her to tour various cons so our fellow Browncoats can see and touch this little piece of the 'verse.

Did you try contacting David Koneff, the Set Decorator on Ariel? If you can get him to pass the word to his crew, maybe one or more of the people who actually build the Ambulance may be willing to help out, and maybe they can even dig up some of the original interior (or tell you where it is so maybe we can buy it.).
Buuut, I guess you tried that.

I'd also reserve a spot for the cast and crew to sign on (someplace that can be covered up - I'm quite sure people might wanna use the ambulance for fan films and such). You're bound to get a lot of autographs over the summer when your precious is gonna be surrounded by drooling fans and the occasional BDH at conventions. The BDHs, Joss and crew are gonna love you for this. And we do anyways, of course.
