Those of us that were Forsaken just had a field day with the new label.
I am sure there is always room on the Forsaken list...what do the rest of the Forsaken say?

Holding until you get back, Captain.

I just found that thread today, and (since as usual I forgot to check the date of last posting) I put my two cents in, but of course I was too late to join in with TRS bashing fun. Can I please be added to the list since the freaky weasel...I mean TRS...has finally gone away now and so can't add me on officially.

- Shiny. Let's be bad guys.

Sure SimonB come join us in our hellish torment (where I'm having a blast! )

Actually, no don't. Go and update the communal story you started. I love this idea (I used to do this on folded up bits of paper when I was a kid) and want to see it grow and prosper!

To be honest, I was going to leave the story to see where it went to on it's own. I don't want to hog the thread - I want to see where people take it. ( http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=20809)

I'll just stay here and burn for a bit. I may go and add some more to the story later if nobody else has....

Ahh...nice and toasty now - roarin' fire and all. Anyone have marshmallows?

Well that was an ummmmm interesting read. I tread lightly and try not to offend but I'm sure I would've made the list had I been paying attention. And that would make me what? 75th to the throne?
It's been a long time since I called myself a Christian but as far as I remember Jesus never taught me to hate anyone. In fact if memory serves he was always hanging with prostitutes and various other types of sinnners. Not one for church and was always going on about love and acceptence. As far as I could tell Jesus was a free loving hippie kind of a guy. His followers on the other hand apparently can't read or just have incredably selective memories.
Any one else notice that god got a personality make over between the old and new testiments?

An I carried such a torch

Yep! All the best people are! (Or at least most of the people who practically live on this site! I include myself in this list - I worry that in my enthusiasm I have to try not to post every few seconds!!))

a really good song by Eliza Gilkyson... Man of God - (pretty much a jab at Bush & the religious right )... she sings

"Jesus says, blessed are the meek,
Jesus says, ya gotta turn the other cheek,
Jesus says help the poor and the weak,
If He lived today, He'd be a radical freak....

sounds about right to me
