Hey, let’s recruit Oprah.
Once she sees Firefly/Serenity with their strong female characters and that Joss is a supporter of Equality Now she’s almost bound to join our side.
Think of it, a 45 second plug from Oprah would send DVD sales thru da roof.
The ranks of Browncoats would swell into millions.
Maybe she would have Joss as a guest on her show.
Beside all that she’s got huge piles of cashy money. Just what is needed to revitalize Firefly and/or get us a BDS.

It could happen.

Browncoats already seem to be in the millions. Heck, the show was even in the 3 million viewer range when it was on, and has grown since.

I don't think Oprah would give it the chance. She would see nothing but scifi, and violent scifi at that, and would turn up her nose. Way too many people are snobby about scifi....

Besides, when I saw the title of the thread all I could see was Oprah cast as Zoe. And now I need someone to gouge out my short term memory, please.

She might like it. It is at least intelligent. We could stick it in her dvd player while she did her so hated excercise!
