Ok, never done this and don't much like talking about myself, but here goes.
I'm 31, been single for seven months after my - god I hate using the word boyfriend at my age - of five years stopped talking to me, literally.
I hail from Glasgow, Scotland, love most things comic-y sci-fi and am a bit of an obsessive when it comes to Firefly and Serenity. I also love horse-riding, going to the cinema and reading.
I would love to get in touch with people who are loyal, honest, reliable, with a sense of humour and, if you're as big a geek as me then that's just fine!
And why do none of the guys I see around look as fit as the Firefly guys??

Just got off work to find a new singles thread--so here goes...Single 26 year old female in the Raleigh, NC area, blue eyes, brown hair, and a decent imagination. Love to read and write and watch good movies (old and new). I love living in NC, and especially staying at the beaches. Also hopelessly addicted to Firefly, cream soda, skittles and football season.

If I had to make up my perfect partner I'd look for Mal's butt, Jayne's upper arms, Book's kindness, Simon's intelligence and Wash's sense of humour. I'd add in Inara's hands, Kaylee's face, River's eyes and Zoe's body but that might just confuse matters!
Seriously, meeting someone funny and kind who wouldn't look at me oddly when I get over-excited about stuff (like Firefly) would be really great!

*sigh* Not a single person even remotely near me. Looks like ill have to move to Carolina or the UK to find some single Browncoats.

I’m a 36 year old SWM near Austin, Texas. I consider myself fairly Wash-like, though friends and those silly online surveys place me closer to the Captain. At 5’11’’, 160 lbs. I’m thin but semi-muscular. I fit in somewhere between too damn proper and a might whimsical in the brain-pan. I like movies, sci-fi (tho’ Firefly is my first obsession), brewing, guns, primitive skills (flint knapping, tanning and the like) and other miscellany. Working on quitting smoking, not so much w/ the drink.
What I’m looking for…well not that any are required but I like Zoe’s strength and courage, Kaylee’s sweetness and positive outlook, River’s innocence and craziness and, Inarra’s sensuality and grace. Silliness and/or the appreciation thereof is plus. I’m pretty much open if the chemistry’s right.
