What you see on the tv show - that's all there is. That, and the end credit bit. It was specifically written by Mr Whedon for firefly, and not taken from somewhere else.
Which is a gorram shame in my opinion, cause it's a fantastic song.

Though Michelle Dockrey went and took the tune and made a full-length song out of it. Not official though.
