Or am i just imagining things. But i recall this image of Kaylee's arms snaking around Mal as he settles into his bunk: and he man of impeccable moral that he is gently rebuffs her advances. Did that ever happen?

I seem to recall that scene from a (really excellent, multi-part) fanfic. It was not in any of the scripts I've read, nor was it in any of the episodes.

Thank you i will cease scanning the dvd for that scene. Sadly i have yet to really watch the dvd in all it's splendor because i am such a gobshite i've set up the dvd but somehow have no sound so i've merely watched someof it with the subtitles. Just not the same though my recall of French and Spanish was better than i thought. I do love the language options!

Rita, you tale of Buffy discovery is one which I can't imagine Joss not flipping over (Mr. Pointy, indeed!!).

I've got to ask (compulsions, BAD!)...how do you have your DVD player set up? To what is is connected? Can any of us Browncoats form an impromptu tech support cadre around our ailing comrade? Can any of us sit still while she reads "The Hero of Canton" in Portuguese or Esperanto or somesuch?!
