Hi folks, I'm new to this, although I've been lurking for a while, and I'm finding this pressing buttons to make words to be read by folks scarier than I thought I would. Still the need to join you is overwhelming enough to try to conquer the fear, and celebrate the wonderful firefly 'verse. Hope I'm doing this right tell me if I aint, I realise my ignorance but I'm willing to learn.

Thankyou all for your welcome. I have to say typing words a second time isn't qite so scarey so I'm thinkin' it can only get easier.

Welcome, Spicky! I only signed up in February, so I well remember how nervous I was when I first posted. (My first post was pretty stupid, by the way.)

I'm so glad you overcame your fears and decided to join us! With any luck, FollowMal will be along soon to issue you your official Browncoat and there will be others welcoming you, too.

This site is mostly cool! The only place that you wouldn't wanna wonder into is the Troll Country! You should also visit the chatroom after midnight. Scary things are afoot there ;)
There is a lot of amazing fanfiction and fan art around here. You should check those out if you didn't do so already.

Hey I'm always dancing, people watching or not, it's the making of the words that bothers me, but the response I have got from people here has been amazingly friendly, I can feel the fear subside with each typing. Can't say I'll have much time to post much for the next few weeks because of exams and assignments due at the end of the month, but the summer will bring renewed vigor.
