I found something similar to a Jayne Hat at Old Navy, but I've been calling it a Fargo hat (from the movie). Is that right?
I think to get a righteous Jayne Hat from "The Message" you'd have to know a knitter. Oh, grandma!

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know who wrote the "Jayne, Hero of Canton" ballad? Was that Ben Englund for Tick fame? Or is it another Joss-ism?

If I had a hat like that, I'd wear it every day. I collect odd hats. Well basically anything that's not a baseball cap. I want Jayne's hats and that one that Wash wore in Serenity. I've got one that looks like Max Perlich's that he wore in Buffy (among other movies) if anyone remembers Whistler from The Becoming.

At the LA Con, Joss intro'd Ben with this credit.
To seque back to main topic, Adam was wearing the same outfit at the con that he wore for the Easter Egg on the DVD (except for the cunning hat - replaced with a Firefly ball cap). He hugged me so I got a really close look at the T-Shirt - very nice!
