Seems like no one is mentioning the Hanso commercial that aired during the episode. Did anyone notice that? They even provided a phone #, which is real: 1-877-HANSORG or 1-877-426-7674.

My guess is that Henry is the big Kahuna of the Others. A nice twist seeing as how he was in their midst the whole time.

I missed the commercial (I'm a channel-flipper), but I checked out their website, www.thehansofoundation.org. It's quite a trip. (Two tips: the password for the newsletter is breakingstrain; and if you send Joop a message, watch his reaction when you type in
"persephone.") I called the number a couple of times, but keep getting the message that the circuits are busy.

Yep, both got in trouble. I believe Michelle Rodriguez was driving and wound up spending a couple days in jail for it.
According to the things I have seen online M.R.'s agent told ABC & JJ Abrahams that she would only do the show for one season, so killing her off seems a pretty effective way of writing her off the show.

I saw it & checked out their "website". Just leaves me w/ even more questions then I had before. If that is even possible.

Now, as far as Libby (Hurley's love interest) goes, she is NOT dead.
At least not at the beginning of the episode...

She has been signed for another season & one of the episodes next season will center on more backstory for her character. So, somehow she will live. Most likely the blankets she had folded up in front of her will have slowed down the bullets enough to save her or something of that nature.
Also, the scenes from the next episode shows Michael standing with his back against the wall in the armory. The look on his face was one of anger and or contempt. Looks to me like he has been locked up in the armory now that he let "Henry" go. I am assuming that Libby lives & rats him out for what he did to her & Annalucia.
Well, can't get 'em all right
.It seems like there's also a new website we're meant to check out, sublymonal.com. Did anybody here go there yet? I tried, but all it said is that I need Flash 8 before I can view the site, even though I most definitely have Flash 8 already installed.

I'm not so sure that Michael is a plant. I think he had contact with the others, and they said that if he killed Anna Lucia (because they're all mad she killed some of The Others) and let Henry go, they'd give him Walt back. Michael seems to be willing to do pretty much anything to get Walt back. He also left before he got to know Anna Lucia any better than "the woman who trapped me in a pit, and shot Shannon."
Something I didn't see mentioned yet, is that the hatch that Locke and Eko found is recording everything that goes on in the Swan hatch. I have to think they're going to see the video of what Michael did.
Also, though Libby seems pretty dead at this point, we still know she has some backstory and we've never heard it. Also what someone said about her signing on for another season is odd, seeing as how I think we saw her take her last breath last night.

Without wanting to enter into a discussion about the definition of a "plant", the scenario you described (which I find plausible) qualifies as michael being a plant in my book.

I thought this at first too, but remember that Locke had to turn on the power in the Pearl when they came in. Any recording devices would need power to run, so I doubt the event was recorded. Also, it's very possible that the Pearl was unmanned when the shootings happened (they happened the evening before), so it wouldn't have been recorded even in the notebooks that were there.
Next week will be Michael-centric, apparently focussing on his foray into the jungle. Hopefully it'll answer more questions than it raises (knowing Lost, it won't).

Hey folks, my daughter is a really big Lost fan, do any of you have the link to the Lost forum?
I was hoping to be able to link her.
Also I sent her the link to this thread.

Ah, right you are. I had thought he just needed to power up the lights, but there had been a shot of the TV screens earlier.
So, unless the cameras record on a separate paower source, maybe there is no video record of what Michael did.
