Ooohh, this is a fun thread! I wanna say I like Followmal's answer for her gal : Mal in his bonnet!("How can you shame me in front of new people?!" always cracks me up.) Seriuosly, I don't have to think too hard about this one. My guy would definately be Mal, cuz' the man just oozes S-E-X. God, I do believe he is the sexiest man I've ever seen, and I could spend a mighty looonnnggg night with him... 
Gettin' a mite hot in here...and for the girl, Inara because she's beautiful and you already know she enjoys another woman's company, or Kaylee because she's sweet and she'd be easy to be with...and then I'd go back to Mal....

Well for the guys I would have to say Simon with Wash as a very close second. I choose Simon cause well... did ya see him without a shirt? did ya? not that the others dont look good themselves but...geez. And hopefully he'd give smart babies that would be a plus.
For the ladies I would have to choose Zoe cause well come on...Warrior Woman!!! Thats reason enough for me.

Well for the women I'd bed with Zoe. I'd be sure to reimind her how we needed to keep close to conserve body heat in deep space with failing life support.
For the men, I'd pick Simon or Wash, mostly because I could take either. And that's the difference to who has the bed and who has the floor.

I find it very interesting that (as a sweeping generalization) the majority of the heterosexual womenfolk in this thread are willing to at least entertain the concept of going sly, where the majority of the heterosexual menfolk (myself included) give answers that essentially boil down to "which of the male members of the crew would be easiest for you to avoid anything actually happening with".
I also wonder whether there's any connection between that fact and the way that (as another sweeping generalization) any straight man will respond to the thought of two women with a firm "I'll be in my bunk" where as far as I can tell it's pretty rare for a woman to have that reaction to the thought of two men.
Time for another imponderables thread?

Mal would be my second.... because of his protectiveness. He can be a jerk, but he'll also die for someone he thinks of as family.
