Now that we have mentioned the floors again, does anybody remember what floor it was that we all decide what we wanted in our room. I'm getting ready to do my apartment on the Tree thread and I wanted to refference the dream room I designed on hidey tower.
Ah Rum, brings back memories of my early twenties when me and all my friends had just discovered Morgan's. We had a ritual we called "walking the plank" it consisted of all of us pitching in on one of those really big bottles of Morgans, the 1.75l size with the handle that we affectionately named "the depth charge" and a two liter of coke and a bag of ice and sneak out into this state park late at night and a get smashed. It was this really cool mesa all covered with sagebrush and chapparal that pointed South. If you looked East you could see a Interstate freeway, to the south was a salt water lagoon, and to the west was the sea framed between two other mesas. We would sit out on that mesa all night getting drunk looking at the stars, the moon and the ocean, sometimes the freeway and talk about anything. We never got busted because we never left anything behind accept footprints. We always took our empties with us and no one ever got really stupid and injured themselves doing a foolish stunt.

That sounds like a lovely park. I feel the need to go hiking. Maybe I can squeeze in a few hrs this weekend.
And the rum drinking doesn't sound that bad, either!

I was definitely one to blame for seriousness in the original thread. I posted rather often to it and nearly every post was colossal. Looking back at it now it's funny to see how I've changed. Right around that time was something of a turning point for me. Weird.
