I thought it was time for a new thread. The old ones were getting WAY long and hard to find.

SO...we've now hit the "Less than one month" mark.

Is everyone all geared up for this?
What part are you most looking forward to?
Do you think we'll actually get to shake hands with Nathan and Adam?
Who's got which extra events with their tickets?

I'm VERY excited. The tees MalNourished designed are done and I'm going to pick them up tomorrow. I'm debating buying an MR tee too.

I'm most looking forward to seeing Nathan and Adam in person. Everything after that is just gravy...

I've bought the photo shoots and will make a definite attempt to shake their hands and say thanks! Oh, and "More Firefly PLEASE!"

Extra events for me: Cocktail party, Dance, Concert

Oh, and don't forget the Browncoat PJ Party Shindig! Can't ever forget that!

I'm so excited that I can barely sit still.

Yes, I definitely think that we'll get to shake their hands (if I don't pass out first).

I have the same extra events as Kaele, plus some photos:

Nathan Photo Op
Adam Photo Op (to be taken with Kaele)
Serenity Photo Op with Nathan AND Adam!!

OK, I might have gone a bit overboard with the pics...

I've got my PJ's all picked out for our shindig!

I'm looking forward to meeting Nathan (of course), and Adam, but I really can't wait to hang out with Kaele and the other 'coats. The Q&A's will be fantastic, I'm sure. Nathan and Adam are so much fun together.

I'll be ready to go as soon as I find a dress with some slink for the cocktail party.

Oh, we're listing photo ops too? LOL

I'm pretty much getting the same photo ops as MalNourished. :)

I still haven't recieved confirmation yet, but both the con organizer and her confirmations person both know I've paid up. I'm hoping they have a seat for me! I've e-mailed them and I should hear back soon.

I'm just numb. I don't want to get too excited, but I do. I get all trembly when I think about actually seeing the guys onstage, let alone the possibility of actually meeting them in person. I'm just trying to be cool about it and don't want to go all fangurly on them. I just cannot believe it's less than a month away! This is just gonna fly by.

Let me just say that I'm more excited for this MR than the two that I have been to. It must have to do with my new found love for Firefly/Serenity. I know that last year I would have been extremely upset if there had been more Firefly stars than Buffy/Angel because I never saw it. But Serenity pulled me in, and now I'm stuck. There are worse things to be stuck on, I'm sure.

As for extras, I have a Premium ticket. So that's the concert (which will be great), the cocktail party (which will be fun) and the dance (I've never been to one of these, so I don't know).

I also have individual photo ops with our BDHs. Still contemplating the Serenity shoot as well.

I can't wait! But we have to!

Oh, and Aria mentioned on the Forum, that the other guest that she was hoping to get won't be able to make it. I have no idea who it was, but I was hoping for another headliner (which this guest would have been). We'll still have a blast anyway!

Yes, I was very disappointed to hear the other headliner wasn't able to make it. It would have made the con more fun. But oh well. Maybe next year.

Listen, Aria's talking like next year's con may be her last. I've already offered my services to her for helping to plan next year's con. I'm hoping she continues on past that. We just need to make sure she makes tons of money so she CAN do more on after 2007. :) I'd love for an excuse to pull in our BDH's once a year to our area! So little happens near Philly because New York gets all the cool stuff. It'd be nice to help support something close by that is fun as well as more personalized than those corporate cons. And besides, Aria's just plain nice. :)

Hope you gals are keeping an eye out for your slinky dresses! MalN and I are going shopping in two weekends for some very slinky dresses for the cocktail party.

Can't wait to meet you all!

I was looking for this!!! Less and a month and we get to meet our BDH's and each other. Although I am looking very much foward to meeting you guys, I have to say, the idea of meeting my BDH's is plum near making me weak-kneed!!
But dontcha worry erveryone -we will shake their hands, ask questions, maybe get a smile from them...Leastways, I've been thinking about what iw ill say...
We'll have to line for up photo shoots together so we can make use of our digital cams for the "candid shots", assuming of course that that is permitted!

I *sniff sniff* don't have a diamond or whatever pass...I have the pass that gets me into the Q&A's , dealer room, and I bought eh Nathan shoot, Adam shoot, serenity shoot (double ) And the cocktail party...

So I gather we're still going slinky to the cocktail party?? yippee - gonna try on my dress makes sure it still slinks...working on the pj's and also working on my very own tee - with JaynesBunkWoman on front!! Got some other shiny tee's to wear. stuff from cafe press, stylin online...

Arriving Thursday, leaving Sunday - You guys??

Arriving Friday with the crew. MalN and her friend are crashing at my place Thursday night to help break up her driving. My mom and sis are gonna crash here too. One last stop to pick up a friend and we're off. :) Two cars, 6 people...yeah, I think everyone'll see us comin'. LOL

I'm volunteering, but my mom and sis are not. Don't know how much we'll be asked to do. Speaking of, I need to get my pic taken! Argh...stupid photo IDs...

A few of us got some new tees made, with the comic done by MPhillips on the front. It'll have Fireflyfans.net and SerenityMovie.org on the back. :) I'm goin over Mom's tomorrow to try and print up the names to iron onto the sleeves.

We'll find each other. Somehow! You're coming to the shindig, you've GOT to find us!

*HUGS* FM - It's been ages!!
I got some questions in mind but yeah, I should open it up to my bunkmates!! Can't have them all jealous cause I get to meet the man...one question for sure is the scar!! I'm thinking maybe Hockey...Although one bunkmate suggested it's a result of a horific grilled cheese incident *LOL* It's a looong story!
I'm gonna write them up so I don't forget!! Some questions about his roles and how he chooses them, if he ever really really really wanted a role and if so, whcih one was it, which he likes more in terms of character developement - films or tv....Has he ever thought about runnig for office since he does have some pretty strong politics views/thoughts and he seems to be a morally stand up guy...course wouldn't want him to become jaded! And I also want to ask him to pop into the fun threads once and awhile and not stick to just the political threads!! It would thrill us girls to no end if he were to pop into one of our discussions!
Those are some of things I was thinking for the Q&A...don't know how much time we have for "chatting" at the photo op's and autograph sessions....so I';ll have to think of some "small talk" while i turn 10 shades of red and come off like a complete idiot!
I'm gonno pop over to my bunkmates for their Q's for Adam!
