Absolutely deserved! Joss has turned this strange world on its ear more than once. He has made us think and talk and be outraged and giddy with joy. Anyone capable of doing that sure as hell should be recognized for it. May this be just the first!

Congratulations, Joss. Wish I cou;d've been there for the banquet, but I only got to go to the reception the night before. Stil I got to see the nominations, and how much the Sci-fi world appreciates what you do. Nary a soul there wasn't a devoted fan or at least providing nothing but praise(I had to fend off Harlan ellison to get a signed One-sheet!).
