Ok, boys and girls, here's the real question. You are lost in space and things are gettin' a mite hot. You HAVE to sleep with a member of Serenity's crew. (Not that there's a whole lot of arm twistin' goin' on here.)

Thing is, everybody's gotta give a guy AND a girl that they'd bed with. Most girl-folks'd say Mal or Jayne, I'm aware. That's why I'm exploring Shepherd Book this week (older man appeal). My girl vote goes to Zoe.

Male: Simon, or Wash (if and only if Zoe wouldn't flay me alive, roll me in salt, and give me to Jayne for target practice).

Simon would probably be considerate and attentive, seems like he would go slowly at first and nicely pick up steam as things progressed. Either that, or I would intimidate the poor guy. Wash would make me laugh until I pee...and we know that with a bit of time to learn the individual partner's likes, he's got that whole "satisfy the lady" thing down pat. He also wouldn't have any problems telling me how to satisfy him. I make Simon look socially clued in - but I would want to make sure he enjoyed himself, too.

While as a female, I am impressed that Jayne knows what crotch smells like well enough to make comparisons to...other things, I think that he'd be a bit unpolished in bed, and I prefer a to have the option of sophistication. I'm not physically attracted to Book, but I'd love to get in a four-way metaphysical discussion between him, Jayne, River, and myself.

Mal is nice-looking, and he interests me as a person, but not as a friend-with-benefits.

Female: Inara.

Inara has training in both the social and erotic arts. Combine that with a genuinely warm and welcoming personality, and it's a very attractive package (literally and figuratively). She would best be able to smooth over the awkward patches, and teach me a thing or fifty (which I could then go back and teach Simon and / or Wash. Always thinking ahead, that's me.)

Kaylee would be fun, but more a "great girl-friend" kind of fun. River might either be too disconnected or she'd snap me in two. Or wander away, leaving my fragile, twitchy ego splattered all over the deck. Zoe intimidates me a bit - plus, it would probably hurt Wash, which would make me feel like a pathetic excuse for a human being.

That's a tough one. I really would be open to just about anyone on the crew, except maybe Simon. Don't know why, just not my type. I'm all for Book. I don't care that he's older but he's a sheperd and he's celebit so that rules him out. Hmmmm....

You know, I'm going to go with one of the obviouse ones for the guys. Mal. He just makes me hot.

Now as for ladies...I've never thougt about that one. Excuse me while I work this out. I actually have to type it to figure it out. My brain just works better this way....Kaylee's sweet but there's no draw there. Inara is beautiful but she's just too..contained. She talks all soothing and she's got that little smile on her face but none of it feels real.

I think I'll go with Rivwer, provided she's in one of her lucid periods.

I also wouldn't mind jumping in with Wash and Zoe both. Don't want to break up a married couple you know.
