Joss Whedon wins Nebula Award for Serenity script

I'm a little surprised that I haven't seen any thread so far noting that Joss Whedon won the Nebula Award Saturday night May 6, for "best script" for his script for Serenity. The Nebula Awards are awarded annually by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. They are voted on annually by members of SFWA, who have to be published writers. More detals can be found at SFWA's web site at www.sfwa.org or at Locus Online's website, www.locusmag.com .

By the way, Serenity has also been nominated for a Hugo Award for "Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form". The Hugo Awards are voted on by science fiction fans. The Hugo Awards will be awarded in last August of 2006 in Anaheim.
