Hi, new firefly fan here! Had never heard of the series before but I rented a bunch of sci-fi movies recently and one of them was Serenity.
I loved it and ended up buying the firefly series to watch. I'm totally in love with the series now, especially love Simon (my favorite), Kaylee, River and Jayne.

Wish there was more, that the story continues!!!! I wonder how Jayne would treat River now that she basically saved all their lives

Anyways, I was in the mood to make a video - this is my first firefly vid (includes some serenity scenes)! Thought I would share it.

Have you been offered hospitality yet? There's strawberries and wife soup set out. There might even be some mudder's milk...
I'm looking forward to seeing this vid! As soon as I get home from work I will download it! (yes, I get to chat at work. sometimes I love my job)
I'm a fanvid adict. Trying to get some programs to make my own.

That's one of the largest videos I have downloaded so far!
I thought it was excellent! My one quibble is that you sped up one of my very favorite scenes, where Kaylee eats a strawberry. Too few vidders use that scene, I think, and it's just too good to rush! But I loved it; it fit Simon and Kaylee very well.
Have you seen the River/Jayne fanvid that's up? I'm not a big fan of the pairing myself, but this vid actually really makes it work; the song is called "The Girl of my Dreams is Giving Me Nightmares" and it has some quite funny moments and very nice editing. It's pretty cool how vids can do that. In fact, I have ideas for three vids set around three different pairings: Mal and Inara, Mal and River, and River and Jayne. It's a little weird, but they're in my head and they all work.
Anyway, I rambled. More vids please!

PhoenixRose - oh definitely love the Kaylee eating strawberry scene too! It's really long though and I wanted to squeeze in as many Simon/Kaylee scenes possible so I ended up having to speed the strawberry scene up in this video. As long as it is, I still love the strawberry bit, so it'll probably end up in all my videos.. I have it in my new video although I cut it off with Simon licking his lips lol.

I will check out the River/Jayne vid. I saw a really funny one set to "can't fight the moonlight", but haven't found many other river/jayne videos so thanks for the heads up!

PingJing - thanks for the compliment! I love making the videos, my latest one is a comedy so hopefully you'll check that one out too!

Ohh, this was really cute! I don't usually look at fan vids but this was really well done. Loved the few scenes from the movie that were added in.
