May 20 Cookoff Fundraiser

Clear your calendars folks,
Its time for the Big Gorram Cookoff/Silent Auction to raise
money for the LoneStar Shindig Guest fund
When? Saturday, May 20th starting at 2pm, food judging and
Silent Auction will run until 6pm, A Viewing of the Australian
Serenity DVD's will immediately follow.
Where? Artcat and Lost_thoughts new house :) (please send
e-mail me artcat@ev1.net to get directions, its located minutes
from HWY 6 and the Fort Bend Tollroad, its out near Sienna
Plantation on the Southwest side of town) [HOUSTON, TX]
Details: Bring your favorite dish you could see in the Firefly
'verse this could be anything from "good dogs"(hotdogs) to fresh
bau, entering the contest is free so bring on the food! Please
bring everything already cooked, there are plenty of outlets to
keep things warm and a microwave and oven for heating things.
If you want to partake in all the yummy goodness (and believe me
Browncoats can COOK!)
All you can eat Main courses $6.00
All you can eat Desserts $6.00
or simply all you can eat $10, sodas included, BYOB (bring your
own beer)
Everyone who buys food gets to vote on their favorite dishes and
the winning dishes will be awarded prizes including items from
Artcats's BlueSun Shop ( www.texasartcat.com/bluesun.html),
assorted comics, and your own set of Dinosaurs for the control
console.
Please also bring any donatable items looking for a new home to
our silent Auction, again all money raised goes to pay for our
guests for the LoneStar Shindig.
One Special item that will be available at the auction is a
custom painted phospherescent (glow in the dark) night sky
ceiling by our very own artcat, a sample of her night sky
paintings will be available for viewing at this shindig.
Spread the word, and bring a friend and your appettite!

Sounds yummy, but I doubt I can make it from out of state and all.
