Angel is a much better show than Buffy. And I love Buffy. I would recommend Angel to someone before I recommended Buffy, that's for sure. People have a bias against it because it is a spin-off, but that is moronic.

Personally I liked Angel but never had time to fully get into the series. I saw one episode of it with an actress I really liked and now I watch it when ever I can!

Definitely. All Joss is good Joss. I've seen every episode of everything and like some others I think Angel was a bit above Buffy in some ways. Not that Buffy wasn't great, Angel just had something that was its own.
I liked the first two seasons the best, the next to last the least. But a bad Joss show is like going outside and finding it's raining money, only it's ones instead of twenties.

Well, I bought the 1st season of Angel and have to say that it was much better than Buffy Season 4 and after watching Buffy 5 will definately watch Angel 2 because 1 was so good. I found it better than Buffy in some ways, nice to have a change.

You should definetevly watch Angel, Its darker and grittier then Buffy and in my opinion alot better.

Angel IS worth watching in my opinion, it does differ from Buffy slightly in the ways mentioned in the other posts but I have really gotten into in the past few months. I never got to see it when it was not syndicated and I was sorry for missing it!(that is until I caught it in syndication.) Now, I can't get enough! I now realize that I love all things Joss Whedon!
