AURaptor... You can't honestly think that his statements are groundless. I understand and respect that you have a difference of oppinion, but to imply that Dayve "can't" offer examples is to indulge in a little dishonesty of your own--ya thinking of maybe running for office?

You've been on this board long enough, you want this argument again? The folks on the Bush-never-lied side of things will accept nothing short of grand jury indictment to prove Bush lied. The rest of us don't need a legal precident to know what's going on in the world.

Either the man has been unutterably stupid and misinformed or he lied--about WMD, about Joe Wilson's wife, about saying "I don't think about him much," about "fixing" intel, about "having no idea" the levies would break, about personal knowledge of a whole mountain of issues. Just take a look at the 47 old threads on this topic right here in the RWED.

AURaptor, and anyone else who would like to beat this dead horse, a man can lie without there being irrefutable legally binding evidence that he did so. Just as plenty of us know O.J. murdered his wife, we know perfectly well that Bush lied. Get over it.

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Yep.

He either lied, or he's utterly incompetant.

Which is it, AU?

HK:
Is it worth it?

Bush never lied, all Muslims are evil Terrorists, any perceived problems of the American economy are to do with Illegal Immigrants, Liberals are all lying communists, Republicans invented morals and are incapable of breaking them, since they are human+.

Anyone who disagrees with the above list is an evil Anti-American terrorist who hates freedom children and puppies, and should be exterminated.

Talking to AURaptor is like talking to PirateNews, I only do it because it's funny.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
And as you know, these are open forums, you're able to come and listen to what I have to say.

That is so true. I consider them to be on opposite end of the whako-scale.

Though I will grant that AURaptor's posts are much, much, much better written, and more understandable, than Piratenews' evil Jew rants.

The whole thing seemed staged to me. There's no way they let him up there without knowing exactly what he's going to say. He pulled his punches to accommodate. I was expecting something like what Jon Stewart did on Crossfire. This was totally expected - just another calculated Rovism.

Since you won't offer up an example of where he lied, and there's nothing to indicate that he's incompetent, I'd have to say ' neither '.

After all, Bush was responsible for some damn good choices.

Tax cuts, Supreme Court nominations ( Alito and Roberts ) John Bolten as Ambassador to the U.N., and yes, taking down Saddam. His dad should have done that yrs ago, but wanted to play nice. We see how well that worked out.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

AU, seriously, you've been offered up post after post of examples of the Bush administration's blunders and duplicity - going on three years now. Your ostrichism trumps all comers. No one wants to waste their time. Besides we've all heard the republican talking points ad nauseum. You regurgitating them won't add any sparkle.

thanks for the photo embers....
Gina looks magnificent....although it would be nice to see that sawed off winchester tucked in there somewhere....

Laurence is no slouch either.... nice looking couple..

And, to you guys..HK, Auraptor, Sarge, Citizen, Storymark...i would like to offer an olive branch... I realize that i started this 'hot button' thread, but i wasn't so much bashing Bush as i was praising Colbert... (ok so incompetent is a tad harsh).... but criticism is certainly not limited to movies or tv shows... I VOTE, i vote every chance i get...for anything...(proud to say i was on the winning side of the whole Paul Fete for Dogcatcher campaign) - i vote and therefore i feel it's my right to speak out. And, I'm a liberal, a progressive...hell, a 'Yellow Dog Democrat' as we say in texas... and in all my years, i haven't seen a lot coming from the more conservative side of politics to change my mind... i could, however, move a little more to the middle if i thought it would help find a common ground between the parties... but don't see that happening so much as the Us vs. Them mentality.....

As for the lying and dishonesty... i'm not so naive to think that all politicians are not guilty of it in one form or another... that's reality - and is a necessary evil i suppose....

so let's just agree to disagree and move on....
