This post is all about happy. I thought I'd give it a little theme there, hope you like it. Happyhappy.

Well i like it, its a little bit of a tounge twister, but i do like it.
I alsoo kinda like:
BDA day.
and
S.A.D
Serenity Appreciation day, which ties in with the thanking universal stuff
Is it just me but the boards gone alfull quite the last day.
So just a small

I found that "Serenity 'Versary" began to roll off the tongue better when I thought about how the words kind of rhyme, and have a bit of rhythm like music.
While the "Big Damn Anniversary" name is fun and we fans immediately understand the connection to one of our favorite quotes... the name of the day also has to appeal to those unfamiliar with Firefly/Serenity. They wouldn't get the "damn" reference, and the word could seriously work against the endeavor when it comes to media attention.

Think you're right about the board getting quiet. The good news is that a successful compromise was achieved. My guess is that folks may need a breather after all the intensity of the past couple of weeks.
I know that I've been needing to refocus on things in my life that got shoved aside during all the activity here. This could be the case with a lot of other people too. I'm sure that things will pick up again soon... especially when the campaigns start kicking into gear for this Summer!

I like it. Very cool.
Though I keep saying it as "SereniVersary" as opposed to "Serenity 'Versary." Probably because I'm just used to collapsing words like that out of laziness.

Mmhmm i get that, I get the kind of calm after the storm feeling, its almost quite nice. we have loads to look forward to over the summer, and we have time to take a breath, because we dont have to be fighting for our corners.

Same with me. When I´m saying it, it sounds like "Sereni....mmmmmblll...University". Try saying "Serenity Adversary" or "Serenity Adversity" and it´ll just come out perfectly. Might as well be the german accent...

personally I had just avoided the boards during the ... er ... um ... last few weeks....

actually I'm busy arranging my life around 'Serenity Day' (aka Joss' birthday) right now...
because I'll be attending the shindig, followed by the midnight screening, in support of Equality Now,

and I just want to add that I LOVE 11th Hour's B&W posters, they look awesome when printed out on bright neon colored paper (plus they save my colored ink cartridge)
