Tall Card (sorta) interest?

There are certain services available that allow one to print up a plain ol' deck of cards with a custom back. That is to say, the side that says "3 of <>" or "A of <3" looks the same as usual, but the little design on the other side is whatever you want it to be.

If I was able to get permission from TheDuke333 (owner of one actual prop Tall Card: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=1322 ), and cleaned up the scan a little bit to make it stand out more, would anyone be interested? The price of each deck goes down as the number of buyers goes up.

A note: I don't know if I can actually do this. Having just started college stuff, life's a little busy. But it would certainly be easy enough for someone with the time and the means to take up the reins, if they were so inclined.

Patrick, it's funny you mention this, I've been planing this same project myself. I have a high res scan of a screen used tall card and permission to use it. I have lined up a printer to make them and have started custom artwork for the digit sides of the cards. It looks like decks would cost $30 each for them to be made properly with custom faces and backs.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything, just happens that this is something I've been working on. :)

Oh man - hijack away! Not only would it bypass my school issues, but they'd be much higher quality. After all, I don't have a high-res scan (just that "eh"-quality one that's circulated online), and I don't have custom faces either.

So, yeah. I hereby concede the plan to you!

Question, though - d'you think it might be a good idea to run regular decks with only the custom back, in addition to the ones with custom backs and fronts? It'd be cheaper, for those who aren't quite prepared to drop $30 on a deck of cards.

'Course, I'd have to see the custom fronts before passing judgement.

By the way, I'm flattered that you apparently signed up an account just to reply to my little ol' thread.
