I also think this is a good idea. As for a name for the Sept. event, September of Serenity seems the most logical.
Then again, we could simply have "Firefly Day" on June 23rd and "Serenity Day" on Sept. 30.
We do have domains for both, after all.

I think its probably too late to change the name of june 23rd to Firefly Day, I am sure something will come up for sept 30th.
