Why hasn't Firefly been nominated? Does it have to be programs currently on air? Was it nominated before?

The Spacey Awards are only four years old - "Firefly" was cancelled about 7 months prior to the first Spacey Award show in 2003.
Unfortunately, in order to be up for a viewer's choice award the series actually has to be on the air. :-(
