Hi I've been a Browncoat for over a year now but I've just started posting on the boards.
My sister got me hooked on the box set and I became obsessed and went out and bought my own. Whenever I need a pick me up I put on a few episodes and enjoy getting lost in the 'Verse.
I love the BDM (saw it three times in the theater and didn't talk once) and really hope there will be more movies made in some way or another.
I've finally worked up the courage to start posting. It's nice to finally meet you all.
Mal: One of you is gonna fall and die, and I'm not cleaning it up!

Yikes, this is scary!
I'm a long time British Firefly fan (right from the start I'm pleased to say - or annoyed actually as it was aired in such a stupid order!) but a complete chat room virgin! I am terrified of the dread machine (I swear any second now it's going to beep and eat all my university dissertation, plus probably electrecute me in the process), so it's all credit to the lure of Firefly that I've plucked up the corouge to post here. It shows the depth of my craving for gossip from the black. I only have a couple of friends who love Firefly and even they get an odd look in their eye when I really get going!
So, I'll probably be lurking in the background for a while until I learn the tricks of the trade (like how to insert one of those cool smileys or even - gasp - a picture!!). Till then, be gentle with me!!

Derelict in my duty I have been, watching the hodgeberry wine ferment and borrowing the shuttle to scout for fruits and veggies.
We'll be questioning the buffet just as soon as I can get these mangos cut up, and picks put in the strawberries.
Please, everybody, remember to put the berry hulls in the compost. If you drop them onto the ShipsCat they will stick there, and she dislikes that.

Grr! Stupid computer. See, I told you they hate me! Mine crashed just after I'd posted so I couldn't read all your shiny welcomes till this morning. Very frustrating! All these lovely people just waiting to ease my mal-adiction and I had to wait till the morning!

I managed to get the picture up and running! The smileys are still defeating me though. Do you need to know the right combination of symbols? I only know the basic :)

Ah just adding on, ive forgotten if i did an intro or not, i think i signed up about 20 sumthing days ago and have strangly found i am as hooked to this site as firefly and serenity (if possible ).
Im an aussie from victoria but i havent come across any others on this site
