I'd like to point out that I've still not resorted to personal insults, Geezer still hasn't resorted to not using them...

Oh, come on, man. It's internet chat, not life or death. Loosen up. I'm just trying to get your goat. It must be well after 2:00am in Blighty. Have a warm beer and go to bed. We can play again tomorrow. G'nite.
ps. Response is spelled "response" not "responce"...unless you're calling me a ponce. Them's fightin' words where I come from, boy.
pps. Sorry, couldn't resist.
Beddie-bye time. Yawn."Keep the Shiny side up"

3am, and I'm quite happy thanks, still coming down off the alcohol buzz. I prefer cold beer though, Ale is served at just below room temperature, Larger, what you guys refer to as beer, is always cold

Yep. Over here you can't get anything on draft that's not just this side of freezing. All right for most American stuff, since you don't really want to taste it anyway, but Guinness?
BTW, "Larger"? But we could probably go on all night, as I've been working on a few mojitos in celebration of the imminent conversion of the US to a hispanic country, and my spelling is probably going souyth (chortle) at an amazing rate. Have a good'un, Citizen, ole chum.

American beer is not good, generally. (There are a few exceptions.) All my friends drink Coors or Budweiser (my Dad swears by Pabst and Old Milwaukee), but I can’t stomach the stuff. It’s like drinking cold piss.

Now, that would be a worthwhile Real World Discussion. Where in America you can actually get a decent beer.

Stdoubt,
Dr.Bitt is not a fun loving chap. He writes alot of thories but hey, I can come up with the same things just by reading history. Maybe some things need to done better but we have to go with what we got. Remember those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Stdoubt,
Dr Bitt is not a nice chap. Anyone can write the same thing he wrote if you study history. America is not a perfect country but it is all we have for now. We can change things that we do not like, it called voting for the leader we think will change things. (Oh, the political system what a fun place)
Remember this : those who fail to understand history are doomed to repeat it. (Something to think about)

Over here we have Guinness and Guinness extra cold. Guinness is at the correct temperature, Guinness extra cold is exactly the same drink passed through an extra flash cooler. Question is: is your Guinness proper Guinness? Over here we get all our Guinness from Ireland, wasn't always the case but it makes a difference to the taste.

Though Budweiser is really a Czechoslovakian beer...

In the 51st state: Britain.
But really if you want to get decent beer you need to up your presence in Germany, especially Bavaria.
