Since all this blew up I've been kinda hiding from the threads and limiting my attention to the fanfics.
I'm sure it'll get sorted out somehow but it's not really why we're all here.
Is it?
I don't care what you believe in, just believe in it.

I'm personally deciding to follow the example of the smarter vets around here and have a Summer of Serenity and buy the DVD on both days, if I can. There's a screening scheduled for June 23rd in Boston and I'm going to go to that. If people start an advertising campaign I'll join in with gusto. Until then, I'm sticking around the Slip and Slide and Dance Partay and let those people get all mixed up in their undue fussin'. I'm conjurin' they'll go for Summer of Serenity anyway!
In the meantime, I'm gonna go back to the Partay and try my hardest not to get all worked up over it! In the end, anything we do helps the cause, no matter when we do it, right? Right?
New to the 'verse but ready and more than willing to learn.

I was reading some threads and i think that some browncoats are getting really angery because 2 different events have been scheduled on the same day, isn't this a good thing? If universal sees a spike in dvd sales and charity screenings on the same day wouldn't it make them think about serenity more? Apperently some poeple think this is a bad thing. I have also seen some threads asking if serenity day should be moved to a later date. This would be a good idea, i my self would not be able contribute during June 23 (i'm going to be in D.C.) a later date would let us get the word out to more poeple (but for poeple who do not check the forums very offten this would be extremely confusing). I still don't think that i really know what's going on, could someone please tell me?
You think you've got it bad? I was off the site for less than twenty four hours, and they've voted in a new leader. Not that I have anything against 11th hour (on the contrary, I'm a big fan of her artwork), it's just a bit of a shock, you know? I hope that people can generally come to a consensus about all of this, or else there's going to be a gigantic blowout.
At last.

DeepGirl187,
I don't think anyone has voted in a new leader... Kaele is still doing her thing..
I think if you'll read the thread 11th Hour has been appointed head of anything fff.net does and has made herself Queen of All...
I think at this point it's a nice silly prank... but I suppose if Kaele does her 23rd thing and everyone wants to do a nice shiny 30th of September including the Summer of Serenity thing with 11th Hour that'd be shiny too.
I think it's an attempt at being lighthearted and silly... kind of evens out the not so shiny for a little while.. we are all feelin' it. But democracy is hard. I'm guessin' that the soldiers in Serenity Valley thought that staying there was getting too hard.. but their independence and self government was worth doing it for. Right is right, after all.....
Anyway, I think 11th Hour is purty in her cat suit.. and I mean that in a not sly way. She's cute! Doesn't that qualify her to be a leader?
( please tell me you will laugh.. it's a joke!)

*Hugs for all*
'Course, the silver lining to all this:
All these threads popping up, and the confusion, is just a symptom of the Browncoat movement gaining momentum again. The vets here have done the impossible once before, and what drew me online looking for the 'coats after getting hooked on the 'verse was a powerful need to help out in any small way I could.
Behind all this muddledness is the fact that once all this settles down we'll all have some clear goals to work for. Right now everyone's just trying to settle on just what those are going to be :)
Anyways, like FloralBunny said: remember Mal's words at the end of the BDM. Storm's getting worse, but "We'll pass through it soon enough."

You guys are makin' me feel all warm and fuzzy again. Hugs are nice, thank you!
Birth is hard and we are giving birth to a campaign to do something really awesome. Going to have some pain.. but it'll turn out right in the end.
I am so proud to be a Browncoat and so proud to be holdin' here with you all.

You guys are so shiny...
Just reading your posts makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Then again, it could be that picture of Jayne that I looked at a few minutes ago...

Nice metaphor, FollowMal.
I get warm and fuzzy seeing Simon and Kaylee together. I also tend to shriek happy shipper glee!
Random question: does anybody know from which episode came that pic of Kaylee laying on the bench with Simon and he's got his arms around her? Cause every time I see it I want to cry from the cuteness....
Mine is an evil sugar high laugh! Bwahahahaha!
