What happened?

I was gone for 3 days, and when i get back it seems that every one is in a bad mood. I was reading some threads and i think that some browncoats are getting really angery because 2 different events have been scheduled on the same day, isn't this a good thing? If universal sees a spike in dvd sales and charity screenings on the same day wouldn't it make them think about serenity more? Apperently some poeple think this is a bad thing. I have also seen some threads asking if serenity day should be moved to a later date. This would be a good idea, i my self would not be able contribute during June 23 (i'm going to be in D.C.) a later date would let us get the word out to more poeple (but for poeple who do not check the forums very offten this would be extremely confusing). I still don't think that i really know what's going on, could someone please tell me?

In a nutshell HE WHO WILL NOT BE NAMED had a hissy, some here too exception to his wording - cause they was fightin words. Some backed him up, some didn't - they all started to argue and now everyone is makin a fuss.
Followmal is upset, and that means lots of choclate eating. 11th hour is trying to make some understand and they don't wanna understand and I am just sittin in the corner with my bruised toe NOT bathing in the chocolate.
And so now we all need to have a group hug and try to plan our Summer of Serenity.\
And that is NOT backing down people. That is getting tired of the crap that is not helping and getting on with whats important.

I feel like a dupe coz i still am not sure whats going on 
My poor lil brain is getting all confused. Am i supposed to be buying a DVD on the 30 of Sep or 23rd of June (which unfortuantly is all i can do from down here)

take the easy way out - have a SUMMER OF SERENITY and just buy one every day :)
We don't know yet, they are STILL arguing about it over there, which is why I am over here and at some point Kaele will let us know.
Personnally? I am buying on the 30th and just doin everything I can to recruit from now til then.

Thanks thats clearer September it is. i was reading that thread before where they r 'bebating'the dates, best to watch and not join atm, i dont do well with arguments anyways. Recruiting is hard when all my friends are reality fans :dissapointed:

I think you have to sort out the romantic ones. Yes, I said it - the "R" word. We are all just a bunch of sloppy arse romantics. Pick those out and soon they will be talkin YOUR ear off about the 'verse.

I voluntarily have missed most of the last couple days of the arguing as it was just giving me a headache, especially as I'm trying to be good and not make snarky comments that my brain so wants me to. I gave my opinion, and then buggered off to the dance par-tay, where it's much nicer to be having ultimately decided to be true to my online roots. Avoid possible flame wars by blythly ignoring them and finding fun things to do instead. Give comfort to those who need it. Basically, be kind, thoughtful and somewhat clueless. 
I figure I'll wait 'til the dust settles and then see what the actual plan is. 'Til then... *boogie**boogie**dance**dance*
