I sincerely don't think this is in any way a "June 23rd people" VS. "All other plans" thing. For the good of all, I think we should pay careful attention to not characterize it in these 'VS.', 'Us and Them' kinds of ways. It just isn't the way of it.

There have been some conflicts, and we've gotten a little confused and scattered in places, but things are still moving. It is because things have started moving in really hard to stop ways that the June 23rd Serenity Day plan is still going on. I was asked to help work on this, and I'm going to do my best. And I really don't see how that is in any way going to prevent me from helping work on any September 30th movements as well. And I'll want to! (if any will have me, of course).

I don't think any of us has to arbitrarily take a "moral stance" or something against one side or another because of differing opinions. Even though there are problems with the June 23rd plan (what plan doesn't?) I am still going to do everything I can to make it as successful as possible, because I realize that it is going to happen regardless of whether I help or not. Since these are fellow, well-meaning Browncoats working behind it, I am going to help them with their original plan. After that, I hope to take advantage of the relatively longer amount of planning time to do September 30th work as well. I will humbly ask that anyone who feels able to work on both (even in small ways), please, do so. We CAN do it all, even if some of us have to go about it one piece at a time. Once June 23rd is over, we'll all have the next thing to work on, which is the Summer Campaign (which can and is being worked on already), and Sept. 30th, which is also going to go on no matter what.

This is the most retarded thing I've ever heard of... word was finally starting to spread that if we love the verse that we show it on June 23rd... most of us had questions about what to do and now the chance is very good that half of the people will show support on June 23rd and the other half will show support on September 30th...

The only way either of these days will fail is if this arguing keeps going on. We can't divide ourselves as committed to only one specific day, that is the only way each will 'bomb' as has been stated. If we all support each other than nothing will 'bomb'. What we do is this: Buy DVDs on June 23rd. Take these DVDs and use them to help spread the word and along with shindigs and conventions and what not we get more converts. If you donate it to someplace try and get a little note inside talking about the series and how if the person likes it they should come to the Serenity Day website and other fansites and support the cause. Then we and these new converts then buy DVDs on September 30th. The way I see it its an even bigger impact because even more DVDs will be sold.

THis entire movement is exactly that, a movement and not a one day or two day event. We need numbers to work, and we won't get that arguing amongst ourselves. Too much arguing will just make both days a failure when we could be working to make the whole movement a success.

One day.
One plan.
One army of Browncoats.
