True or not, that's painful. That's rejection. That sucks. Therefore I feel bad for Kaele. I am trying to put myself in her shoes, I imagine she's been hurt and is pissed off right now.

Here's a question. If we do manage to get the word out and spread the love for September 30th, are you in and willing to back us up?
The way I see it, Serenity Day can't have too many events, as long as the focus is all on Serenity.

Kaele stood up to take leadership over many.
When someone takes the mantle of a leader, they know that what they do will be questioned, that's a given.. they should be prepared to do what is best for the many...and to stand up to questioning in regards to the decisions they make regarding the good of the many.

I understand what you're saying, I really do. My hope was that my posts would convince Kaele to listen to the majority of the voices here.
My intention was not to oust her as leader. I hoped she would let go of her personal agenda, and listen to the majority of the fans here. I called her on some of her comments because, as a leader, it's very important for her to be more forthright, and stop bending reality to fit what she personally wants to do. One of my personal pet peeves is seeing someone abuse a position of trust and authority.

For the sake of honesty and respecting the voices of the people who voted, below is an overview of the votes on this thread.
PLEASE NOTE: Many of the people voting for a specific "Serenity Day" still expressed an interest in having a Summer long campaign, starting with June 23rd and concluding on September 30th.
However...
The main goal of this particular thread and vote was to pick which date would be the big DVD buying push, and be called "Serenity Day"... so that's where the emphasis of this voting compilation has been placed.

11th, I can't explain my vote count other than I used only the first post by people. I blame it on pregnant chads. (worked for bush1 and bush2, didn't it? LOL)
Official word from me:
I am not angry nor am I holding any grudges. As I told one volunteer today, we must all do what we think is right. I fully expected some sort of backlash. I had also hoped it wouldn't happen, but sometimes it is unavoidable. People in power are targets and anyone who isn't prepared for that shouldn't be in a position of power.
No matter what occurs and no matter what is said I AM reading and listening. Just because I am not posting every hour does not mean I don't see it.
I weigh everything that is said, wether it was phrased respectfully or not. Not everyone has a way with words, but everyone does have a point of view.
