LOL!

Yes, "immense" is oh so applicable to "Choices". How's that for a first foray into fanfic?

I hope that less neutral adjectives will soon be forthcoming :D

Just yet another reccommendation for Kaylee's Lament and Treasure by ScrewtheAlliance. Great action, character development and exposistion that's actually engaging! *shameless plug* Check it out!

Also, anything by Amdobell is lovely, but my favorite is the Nine Hells Series.

(you can find both of these lovely writers right here on fireflyfans.net!!)

They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see the sky, and they remember what they are.

Blue Sun Job by Guildsister on this site, is a bit of a long one but really worth the time.

Hi there! Newcomer to the site here (and to the whole world of internet forums come to that!) but I'm also interested in getting my hands on more good Firefly stories. I've trawled through Fanfiction.net but, like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get (and don't you just hate biting into those coffee ones?!)

My secret shameful vice is the crossover story! I love seeing two groups of characters I love being shoved together and seing if it'll work! Okay, sometimes it really doesn't but it can be such fun when it does! I notice from glancing through that the Sun Room doesn't have a section for crossovers. Are they just too embarrassing or are there others out there that share my depraved obsession? If so where do they hide them?

I too embarrassingly adore crossovers. Expecially Buffy crossovers, lol. If you want the most fun Firefly crossover ever, check out the book, "Finding Serenity" there's a full article (Called Mirror/Mirror; A Parody) in there about what would happen if the crew of Serenity and the crew of the Enterprise (the newest, lamest crew anyway, from "Enterprise") switched places. HIGH-larious!

If you like Crossovers, try this one on Fanfiction.Net, a crossover with SG-1. I am finding it quite good.

I've also been enjoying quite a lot of post-Serenity fanfictions that I think are very good (I tend to prefer post-Serenity fanfiction because I came into Firefly after watching the movie).

GeekUSA and CABridges are both awesome. Geek did a season 2 that read really well and true. CA did a what if Nathan was in Mal's place- truly hi-larious! You really can't go wrong, I started on the recent page and picked a few. I read a lot of the romance , if you're into Jayne/Kaylee then I recommend Jacqui,Itsawash, hisggodgirl, bookaddict, and way too many more. It's a real treasure trove out there- enjoy!

Oh my God! Someone likes my story! That's mine!!! What an ego boost! Yippeeee!! I'm sooooooo pleased!! I love you and want to bear your virtual children! [b/] (Calms down somewhat embarrased!!)

I wasn't actually going to mention that story till I knew you guys better. I have a friend who is a Serenity fan who believes I have committed the worst kind of sacrilege!

Thanks for the tips anyway, I'll check out some of those today!
