Isn't the US supposed to be all into freedom of speech and expression, expression like art, while the Taliban are all about "do as we say" though.
Point is you expect it from the Taliban, but not the US.

All of the core beliefs involved, regardless of where they go from there, believe themselves to be the sons and daughters of Abraham/Ibrihim, and state that they should not kill other sons and daughters thereof.
There's a lot of common ground there, and like a family feud, that's probably why the hatreds are so very bitter.

If the US had blown up the Bhuddas, I'd surely be upset. Then it's good it was reversed, but it was still government censorship based on the whims of one man in the first place. Not a good thing.
