I'm wondering if Lottery Sandwiches are related in some way to the over/under in sports betting and thus tie in, linguistically at least, with the Emu question.

As for Order Kegs, the phrase has a distinctly psychiatric sound to it. There may be an as-yet undiscovered relationship here to OCD.

Hmmm. Perhaps. You are correct if something isn't over the bread or under the bread it would have to be part of the sandwich. And in book making there is frequent mention of "the spread." But hey, Miracle Whip (TM) is a spread and Book is a preacher so maybe this is actually a religious reference.
