Hope the ear and arm healed good, if you poor victim should read this by any chance. Nothing to be ashamed of, girl, it's all the director's fault. Didn't you notice how most of the evil guys' names in "Masters of the Universe" end in "-or"? That should have been your first clue right there.
Man, that must have been aweful, being tied and gagged and having cut half an ear off and then breaking an arm trying to get off the chair in a panic. It'd be funny if it weren't so darn cruel.
For some reason, I'm hearing the music from the ear scene in Reservoir Dogs in my head. But music is better than voices, I guess, so I ain't complainin'.

Must have been the first Serenity fan fluff movie. I'll be looking forward to it on the next Faces of Death (nah, don't watch that crap, real life violence is teh suck.). Should get good laughs in the gag reel, too.
Be glad the director wasn't setting you on fire and throwing you off a cliff for a stunt scene he had in mind.
But hey, you got to have a chat with Nathan and embarass yourself in public in front of your favorite actors (again, not your fault), that's something! Not entirely something good, but hey, tough times.

Come to think of it, I'd cut half my ear off to have a chat with Summer.
But not really.
Because I wouldn't be as pretty, and I would wanna look my best. I'm not stoopid, you know.

That's a REALLY sad story!! Which I would never have gotten out! Number one because I'd have a hard time breathing, being that close to the Big Damn Hero's(Summer, in particular!) and number two, it's actually a little funny in hindsight.

And yeah, scary stuff but a good life lesson - if someone is going to tie you up, 1) discuss exactly what they're going to do and 2) safewords people! Or have a tune to hum if you're gagged.

Actually, it's a GIRL.

Bauer, from serenitymovie.org, posted that for the benefit of the gals over at their Appreciatin' Nathan thread. (Of which I'm also a member)

Nathan had approached her earlier, asking why she was all bandaged up. He pulled her onstage and called her a guy! She was so embarrassed, she didn't correct him. Later on, he grabbed her in the hallway and apologized for the mixup.

She does stuntwork sometimes. I believe, if I remember correctly, that the film she's referring to was a small indie film. It was not Firefly related.

Nothing to do with this thread but just gotta say Canton your artwork is awesome :) Can I buy some prints to frame, from all the way in Blighty? :) I love the Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp my fave actor. I need to have that :)
