To Everyone who has voted the on www.straightfromthehorsesmouth.co.uk/firefly and sent me messages of support and offerings of help for this project. Thank you, this has be to one of the best community forums I have ever used!
Now the BAD NEWS:
I have had a lot of emails from Browncoats about my recent absence from fff.net and the fireflyday.com project, I have spent the last few days in hospital with my lovely wife and it looks as though we might lose our unborn child. I know this is a bit personal to post but I wanted to give you the real reason why I can no longer organise the fireflyday.com website, I am sure you all understand.
Like I said before this is one of the best community forums I have come across, during this project messages have been posted from website designers and artists offering help and support for this project, I suggest these people step forward and finish this wonderful project, as for organisation there are people who are more than eager to get in on the personal recognition of the project (you know who you are), but this will not work by handing out Sergeant Titles and the such, get together and get things done.
The domain fireflyday.com has already been purchased buy Pizmobeach, so there is no reason why you cannot finish what I started.

Oh shit, I'm really sorry to hear that. I sincerely hope everything will turn out for the best for your wife, your unborn child and you.
I so fucking hate being unable to help.
Thanks for doing what you did, I think everyone understands you have far more important matters to take care of, and hopefully you'll come back with good news in a couple of days.

Wow, sorry to hear that Max. I've only just figured out who you are and now there's this terrible news. :( I hope things work out for the better.
I'll try to get started on a draft site tomorrow ( and I'm sure others will as well - I'm not sure who else volunteered for design chores...maybe we can have a vote for best design. ) and we can see how it goes.
