This one features the amazing Jayne Cobb and the music of A3.

Great Jayne tribute. I had never heard Alabama 3 before, also good. Enjoyed the old timey piano at the beginning and the crackly grain feel to that part of the film.

Thanks! If you're familiar with the Sopranos it's a remix (one of many) of the opening theme song from the show.

I'd like to make my own fanvids, but I only have RealMedia versions of the eps. Do you have them in AVI/MPEG or do you use a converter? And if so, where'd you get them?

I have about half the eps in mpeg format and the rest in Realplayer(rm). There's a good piece of software called RMConverter than will convert the Realplayer to AVI and other formats. You can find it at this site -

They have a free trial version available. Hope this helps.

I have RM Converter. But all the AVIs it made looked like crap, even after I got the DivX codec. And the trial period's been up a while. Anyway around it?

I know that a few vidders like encoding their vids with Realplayer to cut down on cliptheft and the like, so there should be a editing program or two that works with that codec.
I got my mpeg versions of the eps from fireflyeps.dyn.ds.org, a direct download site, but it has since disappeared. That person though originally got them from firefly.dnsalias.org, which is still around. I've also seen mpegs versions at Sharereactor. You can also try the Bittorrent sites for eps. Hope this helps a bit.

ETA: It looks like there aren't any editing programs to use with Realplayer as a source. I didn't find a single one.
